Forever in our Hearts

On September 4, 2017 by Eileen Schwartz

Memories of Mom and Dad; Golda and Max. Together here  in San Diego, California around the year 2,000.

It was party time at their independent living facility. Mom knew how to costume herself and Dad. They were the  life of the party.

She became his caregiver. Where he required assistance from her and a paid caregiver.

Dad passed in 2002 and Mom in 2016. And then eventually  I became Mom’s caregiver and then we needed paid caregivers for her. The cycle repeated.

And now as time passes on, I remember both of them forever in my heart.

Are you a caregiver? Do you pay to get help to care for your loved one?   What’s it like for you? Please share.

Forever in our Hearts
Mom Bubbie Golda &
Dad Pammy Max
